It would be helpful to list some foods that are high in these (like you listed foods for protein). Do you have any recommendations you can give?

So I think most doctors aren’t going to promote things that they don’t know if they work. But they know that medicine works.

When I ask medical doctors about nutrition they naysay everything I ask, and say, “Just eat a balanced diet.” They don’t discuss supplements and natural resources. Nutritionists and dietitians sometimes know about this, naturopaths know about this, and the Internet knows a lot about this, especially sites like Medscape and Wikipedia. As I survey published research, I can develop trusted resources.

This is a question you must get answered by your son’s prescribing doctor or pharmacist.

Here’s some feedback on using essential oils for ADHD: https://www.additudemag.com/treatment/essential-oils/. Also, expert opinions on dosage of fatty acids vary widely. It’s always best to consult your physician about taking supplements.

My child’s pediatrician is big into those. Also, how many omega fatty acids should an 11 year old take in order to see benefits?

Do individuals take all of these? Can they be taken with stimulant medications?
