Anni Layne Rodgers, General Manager
Anni manages editorial and business strategy and operations for ADDitude. A veteran of Rolling Stone Online and Fast Company, Anni earned her MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School before founding an independent consulting company delivering digital strategy to growing magazines. As web director for The Build Network at Inc.magazine, she relaunched TheBuildNetwork.com and forged a custom microsite business. Anni is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and lives in Mystic, Connecticut, with her husband and two children.
Carole Fleck, ADDitude Magazine Editor-in-Chief
Carole Fleck has worked for mission-driven publications for many years, including as director of content for Diabetes Forecast magazine, as a medical literacy editor for patient engagement at Elsevier, and as a senior editor at AARP publications. She has devoted much of her career to helping to inform people with chronic conditions and improve health outcomes.
Eve Gilman, Managing Editor
With over fifteen years experience as a health journalist, Eve is the managing editor of ADDitude‘s print magazine, oversees production of the digital and app editions of the magazine, and is responsible for writing, editing, designing, and tracking ADDitude’s email newsletters.
Melanie Wolkoff Wachsman, Senior Editor
Melanie edits and produces articles, oversees download and eBook production, and writes news and features for ADDitude’s magazine and website. She has 20+ years of publishing experience and previously worked at ViacomCBS and Red Ventures. Melanie is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington and lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband and two children.
Nathaly Pesantez, Assistant Editor
An experienced health journalist, Nathaly Pesantez writes and edits feature stories and news reports for ADDitude magazine and website. A graduate of both NYU and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Nathaly earlier worked as a local news reporter. She lives in her home borough of Queens, New York.
Carly Broadway, Editorial Project Management Specialist
Carly’s desire to empower others to live better led her to the ADDitude community, where she works as a webinar producer. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a double major in Public Relations and Psychology and currently resides in northern Virginia. In her free time, she’s listening to music and podcasts and spending time with her close friends and family.
Hope Goodrich, Web & Social Media Assistant
Hope, a native New Yorker, graduated from Oberlin College in 2014 with a degree in Environmental Studies. She spent a year doing community service and land management for the AmeriCorps Cape Cod Program. She now lives in Philadelphia and works as a web assistant for ADDitude. She has certificates in graphic design and photo retouching from Noble Desktop.
Iris Johnson, Art Director
Iris Johnson is an experienced editorial designer, most recently working as art director WebMD Magazine. Always interested in science and art, Iris got her degree in Medical Illustration and creates infographics and illustrations for WebMD in addition to serving as art director for ADDitude Magazine.
Alyssa Hess-Sánchez, Graphic Designer
Alyssa Hess-Sánchez is a highly-motivated graphic designer currently working full-time at WebMD. She conceptualizes unique brand identities for high-profile events and collaborates with internal and external clients to create eye-catching print and digital graphics. Alyssa works closely with Art Director, Iris Johnson, to design and layout ADDitude magazine.
Ron Anteroinen, Consulting Art Director
Ron is a New York City-based art director and designer with a background in fine art and a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He studied digital design at Pratt Manhattan and School of Visual Arts. Ron has worked in many areas of graphic design over the years, from advertising at Y&R to POP retail at Medallion Retail, web production at softObjects inc, and publishing at Kaplan and Scholastic. His desire to work on material with a deep sense of community purpose has led him to become Consulting Art Director for ADDitude magazine.
Susan Sidler, Circulation Director
Susan is a magazine circulation and direct marketing professional with 33 years of experience. Prior to starting her own business in 1997, she held senior consumer marketing positions at companies including Meredith Corporation, Rodale Press. Her extensive list of clients has included Nickelodeon, Children’s Television Workshop, Yankee Magazine, Archaeology, Love of Quilting, American Woodworker, Make: Magazine, and other special interest consumer magazines. Susan lives with her husband, two dogs, lizard, and guinea pig in Cornwall, Pennsylvania.
Rebecca Brown Wright, Social Media Editor
Rebecca Brown Wright is a writer, blogger, and content marketer with a passion for telling the world about ADHD. She honestly writes in her sleep, but every now and then she surfaces from the world of words long enough to go hiking, visit a museum, or see a movie with her family.
Susan Caughman, Advisor
Susan Caughman served in a number of senior executive positions during her publishing career, including general management, consumer marketing, and editorial roles at Time Inc magazines and at Newsweek. Earlier in her career, she worked in international economic development managing small business start-ups at grassroots levels in West Africa. A graduate of Middlebury College and the Yale School of Management, she lives in New York City with her family.
