I’m curious why ADDitude committee decided to include the term “ADD” when this term was discarded with the DSM 4?
Use of this term creates confusion, for example, with clients not sure if I work with children with ADD or ADHD. I have to explain that ADD is not used any longer and that there are three subtypes under the one term: ADHD.

You fail to mention that Brain Scans and Cognitive-Perceptual Training should be included as part of the assessment and treatment program. Why does your company always advocate the Medical model as the primary solution?

As someone with ADHD, this description is spot-on (at least for my case). It’s almost a constant feeling that you’re missing out on something. Like if you don’t respond to that text immediately or address a separate thought immediately you’ll never get to it.
