How to Teach Self-Advocacy Skills to Children with ADHD

Self-advocacy is the single most impactful skill for college students with ADHD, but it’s seldom taught in middle or high school. Use the strategies in this free resource to do the following:
– Create a Success File to build self-esteem and self-understanding
– Develop a personal self-advocacy plan
– Map out a Situational Action Plan (SAP) for those instances when a student feels someone is depriving them of their rights
– Teach a student how and why to keep a journal
