Nancy Ratey, Ed.M.

Nancy Ratey, Ed.M.

Nancy A. Ratey is a Master Certified Coach and Senior Disability Analyst, and internationally recognized as one of the foremost authorities on personal and professional coaching for adults with ADHD. After receiving her Master's degree in Education from Harvard University, Ms. Ratey has become a leader in the field of disability rights, even giving expert testimony before a congressional committee concerning the historic Americans with Disabilities Act. As one of the founders of the ADHD coaching profession, she has been active for the last two decades in developing programs and lecturing on issues related to ADHD. Ms. Ratey has served as the president of ADDA and on the advisory board of CHADD.

Ms. Ratey has also written extensively on coaching and ADHD topics and has co-authored two books, Tales from the Workplace and Coaching College Students with AD/HD: Issues and Answers (#CommissionsEarned). More recently, her book The Disorganized Mind: Coaching Your ADHD Brain to Take Control of Your Time, Tasks, and Talents (#CommissionsEarned) was published by St. Martin's Press. She has also contributed chapters and articles to numerous publications and been profiled in the media, including ABC, CBS, NPR Radio, and national publications such as Wired, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, The Boston Globe, and The New York Times.
