Free Download: What Are Your Teen’s Weakest Executive Functions?

As a parent of a teen with ADHD, you may ask yourself: “When it comes to executive skills, what are your teen’s weaknesses?” Find out, using these two questionnaires.

Executive skills are the cognitive and mental abilities that help people set and achieve goals. They help us understand tasks, and plan how to get them done, now and in the future.

As expert, Sandy Newmark, M.D. says, “Someone with issues with executive functioning may have problems with analyzing, planning, organizing, scheduling, and completing tasks at all — or on deadline.”

Executive skills weaknesses can make it difficult for teens to complete assignments, study for tests, and meet the standards required to graduate high school.

Use the two questionnaires in this download to create an executive skills profile for your teen, and make a plan together for how to overcome weak spots.
